My two questions to Charytin
I was ushered back stage to meet Charytin and get a signed photograph, at least that's what I told them I was doing. But instead I took the opportunity to ask this statuesque woman a couple questions. What can I say? I have an inquisitive nature! Q1 - What does it take for a woman to make it in the business she chooses to pursue?
Chary - First, you must really want it, and I mean want it from your heart. You must have a true passion and love for what you do. That gives you strength to face what comes.
Q2 - What does it mean to be a Latina woman today?Chary - Women have a lot of power today, things have changed and women are out there shaking things up. This is a great time to be a woman and define yourself in the way you see fit.
After she answered my Q&A she graciously signed a photo. She later delivered the keynote during the Mujer Latina Un Dia Para Ti conference and perhaps inspired by my earlier inquiries she dedicated most of her time to taking questions from the audience. Thanks Chary, what a great way to get us all talking openly!
