Art about women

Buenos Aires, ArgentinaI got back late last night from Mexico. I spent time in Mexico City and Acapulco which was a nice way to balance out the hectic city with a few days swimming in the beautiful beaches of the pacific.

On my last day in Mexico City I stumbled upon the installation of a photography exhibition by Polish photographer Mikolaj Grynberg. The project is called "Muchas Mujeres" and through his lens he captures a moment in the lives of women from Peru, Argentina, Mexico and Poland among others.

The photographs freeze beautiful moments in a woman's life: a mother's kiss, a old woman resting or laughter between friends become touching reminders of the fragility of life. The women are strong, gorgeous, vulnerable, happy, sad and the pictures are worth a thousand words.

Visit Mikolaj's website to view all the pieces.
